We are thrilled to introduce "Happy Highlights," our newest newsletter dedicated to sharing uplifting stories and celebrating moments of joy within our system of care.
In a world often filled with challenges and uncertainties, it's essential to pause and recognize the moments that bring us hope, inspiration, and happiness. "Happy Highlights" aims to do just that by shining a spotlight on the positive experiences, achievements, and acts of kindness that occur every day within our Citrus Family Care Network community.
Through this newsletter, we hope to foster a sense of connection, gratitude, and optimism among all members of our community—whether you're a caregiver, a child in our care, a dedicated staff member, or a valued partner. From heartwarming success stories to small but meaningful gestures of compassion, "Happy Highlights" will chronicle the many reasons we have to smile and be proud of the work we do together.

Impact Report
Citrus Family Care Network (Citrus FCN) proudly presents its 2019–2024 Impact Report, a comprehensive review of the first five years as the Community-Based Care (CBC) Lead Agency for Child Welfare in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. This report highlights the organization’s commitment to protecting children, strengthening families, and engaging communities, while showcasing the foundational work and significant progress achieved since assuming this role in July 2019.
This inaugural report retrospectively looks at the milestones reached and the challenges overcome during the organization’s first five years in this role. Going forward, Citrus FCN will release this report annually, providing regular updates on the impact and growth of its programs and initiatives. Within these pages, readers will find detailed insights into the organization’s major program areas, a summary of its accomplishments, and an emphasis on its dedication to quality and excellence as a Joint Commission–accredited organization.
Citrus FCN continues to uphold its mission through collaboration with community partners, government agencies, and individuals with lived experience, delivering transformative outcomes for children and families. This report reflects a legacy of resilience and innovation that will guide Citrus FCN’s efforts in the years to come.
