Happy Highlights- September 2026
As summer comes to a close and students across our community head back to school, there is plenty to celebrate across the Citrus Family Care Network system of care. This edition of Happy Highlights looks back on a busy summer filled with collaboration, recognition and meaningful moments for the children, youth and families we serve. From statewide conferences and community partnerships to important milestones, special events and back-to-school efforts, our teams and partners continued to show what can be accomplished when our system of care comes together.
Happy Highlights- July 2026
As spring gave way to summer, Citrus FCN continued to celebrate the people, partnerships, and milestones that strengthen our mission every day. This edition of Happy Highlights showcases our collective commitment to supporting children and families through prevention, advocacy, community collaboration, and innovative practice. From recognizing Child Abuse Prevention Month and National Foster Care Month to sharing our work on the national stage and celebrating the dedicated partners who help make our mission possible, these moments reflect the power of working together to create lasting change. We also celebrate significant achievements across our organization, including exciting milestones that bring more children the safety, stability, and permanency they deserve.
Foster Care Month: Opening Homes & Hearts, Changing Lives in Miami-Dade
May is National Foster Care Awareness Month, a time recognized across the country to raise awareness about the needs of children and youth in foster care and to honor the individuals and families who support them.

2025 Full Case Management Agency Transition
As the Southern Region (Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties) prepares for the upcoming transition of Full Case Management Agencies (FCMAs), Citrus Family Care Network (Citrus FCN) understands that families, caregivers, partners, stakeholders and community members may have questions about what this change means for the local System of Care and how it will affect them. Our priority is to ensure a smooth, transparent transition that strengthens our community’s child welfare system and promotes safety, stability, and well-being for the children and families we serve.
