The Hoops4Unity Basketball Tournament will welcome youth in foster care and adopted youth (boys and girls, ages 12-17) to participate in a fun and friendly activity where they can interact with law enforcement and first responders in a positive environment. Youth, law enforcement officers, and first responders will have an opportunity to play together, coach one another, and show off their skills on the court.
Sports have a unique power to relay important messages, overcome differences, and bring people together. By learning about basketball and other aspects of life, the goal of the Hoops4Unity Basketball Tournament is for youth, law enforcement officers, and first responders to create positive relationships that are much bigger than basketball.
