Wednesday, June 8, 2022

The Chafee Foster Care Independent Living Program has additional funds to help youth in foster care, their foster families and former foster youth recover from the recent COVID-19 public health emergency.

Youth between the ages of 14-17 with open dependency cases in-home, as well as those currently in out of home care, including relative/non-relative placements and level one licensed homes, post-adoption youth and former foster youth, ages 18-23, may be eligible for financial assistance!

Many funding categories are now offering additional funds, and youth who previously received Division X Chafee funds, may be eligible for additional incentives or funds.
